Shalom and greetings from Zambia.
AFRICA
The late president of Zambia Levi Mwanawasa was finally put to rest two weeks after his demise. For twenty -one days the nation was in mourning. We are now headed for elections to choose his successor and we have four contenders. Kindly pray for peace during this time as African politics are highly unpredictable.
THE MINISTRY

Old photo of leaders of the Closed Congregation in Chipata standing in front of their former Mosque.
As believers we are in a war with the devil and his camp. Yeshua has promised us the victory but sometimes we do lose battles. This is what happened recently.
"the dragon was infuriated over the woman and went off to fight the rest of her children, those who obey G-d's commands and bear witness to Yeshua" Rev 12:17
A few years ago G-d gave us a great victory and we gained more ground for the kingdom when an Islamic Imam Yakobu gave his life to the L-rd and with him close to a hundred people. They were all immersed in a nearby stream. Yakobu changed his name to Lawrence and suffered persecution from local Muslim leaders. They cut off all his support and even tried to poison his food. He survived and his new congregation flourished.
But poverty brought this congregation down as the Muslims and others began offering food, clothes and bikes to all those who would rejoin them. Most of these people live on less than $1 a day together with another 80% of Zambians. Unfortunately most chose the short term solution of satisying their physical needs hence being bought by the enemy. We have lost this congregation. Kindly pray that His will be done in this part of the country where Muslims even have a university of Islam and are converting locals to Islam at such an alarming rate.
FAMILY;
Kindly lift my wife Fay in prayer, she is in Israel for two weeks. Pray for divine health and provision. Lately we have had witchcraft spells cast at our house and children resulting in sickness. Strange & supernatural things happened to intimidate us from sharing the word of G-d. But we serve a Bigger and more powerful G-d. We will continue striving to win souls for our saviour.
To help you know how to pray for us and others in Africa who daily face off with the evil powers of the enemy i have put this story below , it is a real life article from the secular Times Of Zambia, April 28th 2000 about witchcraft . But bear in mind that Our G-d is more powerful, and greater is He who is in us than he who is in the world. These are some of the things that preachers of the word have to contend with in Africa where the supernatural is many times visible and venerated.
"EVIL SPIRITS HAUNT LUSAKA FAMILY
By Abel Mboozi, Times Of Zambia
A Lusaka family in Matero is spending nights in the cold running away from mysterious fires & other unexplained happenings in their home. The family on Tuesday decided to seek refuge at Matero police station where the haunting followed them as window panes in the office of the officer in charge were suddenly pelted with stones from unseen throwers...The suspected spirits persisted haunting them with fires and pelting of stones forcing them to abandon the house...On Wednesday the family were visited by church members who conducted services at the same place but after they left pandemonium broke out again. Police spokesman Lemmy Kajoba said the suspected ghosts had for the past three months haunted the family..."
OUTREACH
About 2.5 million listen to our weekly radio program and we have started seeing fruit as many are receiving the L-rd in far away places and we have received requests to plant congregations in some areas. kindly pray that G-d will raise local leaders, called by G-d and with a burden for the lost. I have come to learn how important these local leaders are. Without them congregations die out or take a wrong direction.
Adam our friend from Israel and the agriculture expert is now in Zambia and has been allover the place. He is here to witness the love of G-d to local peasants by teaching them cheap but effective methods of growing more food. He has been well recieved and had many meetings. Over 70% of the population of Zambia are peasant farmers who struggle every year to grow enough food.
Orphanage School
We are still looking for more sponsors to help build the Jerome Fleischer Orphanage. The perimeter wall has been completed. Thousands of orphaned children live on the streets in Zambia. There are over 30 million orphans in sub-Sahara Africa. For us who are believers we know that true and pure religion involves taking care of orphans and widows (James 1:27). G-d has brought 123 orphans under our care and our prayer is to house them too. Apart from giving them school and food we plan to give them a roof over their heads. Kindly pray how you can partner with us to make this a reality. We plan to build in four phases and each phase will cost $50,000.
